Margot came to law having raised a family and worked in a range of roles including sales, administration and customer service. Margot is able to draw on this diverse experience to help clients to navigate their way through family law situations and assist clients to deal with emotional issues and change to circumstances. Margot is professional and practical in handling the most delicate matters with compassion, clarity and understanding.
Margot graduated with a Bachelor of Social Science and a Bachelor of Laws from Southern Cross University in NSW in 2004, completed her Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice at Griffith University in 2004 and moved to Melbourne in 2005.
Margot was a Director of the Tipping Foundation for eight years during which time she completed the Directors course at AICD. The Tipping Foundation is one of Victoria’s most established not-for-profit providers of disability and community services for people with disability and for young people who are vulnerable. The Tipping Foundation merged with House with No Steps in March 2018 to make it the largest provider of disability services on the East Coast.
